The National Showcaves for Wales is one of the area's major attractions. There are three different caves to explore, as well as a dinosaur park, an iron-age village, and a natural history exhibit.
Brecon Beacons National Park includes Southern Powys and the lovely Brecon Beaconsrange of hills and mountains. The park is a managed area of great natural beauty and includes a diversity of wildlife. Craig-y-Nos Castle is in Brecon Beacons National Park.
